Prelude by the Sea

My first real romantic-esque composition. I did this as an exercise studying music from the Romantic era. Specifically, I studied Rachmaninoff's études-tableaux, the Sea and the Seagulls. It's a beautiful work that I feel represents a feeling of being the moving waves of the water, rather than an observer. There are many similarities to Rachmaninoff's work in this, purely as an exercise to really understand what he did to create his sound.
